Description
We are seeking a Student Service Coordinator to join our ACL team in London. This is an in-office position located at Fanshawe College.


Reporting to the Senior Executive Manager of Client Services, you will provide exceptional student member services and bring your results-driven outlook to be successful in this in-person role with responsibility for a variety of tasks including individual claims assistance via in-person, telephonic and Live Chat, ad hoc claim escalations, timely responses, on-campus student events or support on resolutions for escalation requests.

You will collaborate and partner with the Contact Centre and internal departments across the organization to provide support to international student members.

Located on campus in the heart of Fanshawe College, you will assist in maintaining our existing student block through international student member inter-facing and support to strengthen the corporate brand and reputation in the industry.


The Student Service Coordinator will:


  • Manage and resolve international student member complaints or issues
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Route calls or softtransfer internally to appropriate resource, when necessary
  • Provide follow up communication to international student members, when necessary
  • Partner with internal teams in the provision of supporting international student members
  • Establish strong relationships with local medical centres and hospitals
  • Communicate and provide assistance to medical health providers, when necessary
  • Provide client support representing our brand at events such as orientations and interact with international students at such events
  • Support our programs and initiatives on campus and raise awareness of all coverage programs and services on campus through our student marketing and awareness strategy

To be successful
as a
Student Service Coordinator with ACL, you will need**:

  • Prior experience in a contact centre or customer service environment
  • Solid data entry and typing skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities, highly proficient in written and verbal communication and excellent organizational skills
  • The ability to learn quickly, adapt to, and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Advanced in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams and able to learn new systems/platforms
  • A positive attitude and welldeveloped listening skills
  • To be comfortable with persontoperson speaking and public speaking
  • Appreciation of the importance of providing dedicated service, accurate information and managing work relationships in a positive way
  • Knowledge of group insurance is beneficial but not required
  • Must be available to work (40 hours) be at the Benefits Plan Office from Monday to Friday for standard daytime hours
