Job Summary


We are looking for an Associate for our Corporate Development team in an investment role that supports capital approval and prioritization for multi-billion annual real estate development and investment.

The role will have top level executive exposure through investment presentations and C suite special projects.


The Corporate Development Associate, Real Estate Investment supports the analysis and evaluation of inventory and long-term capital planning, development, and investment strategy.

The position involves strategic thinking, finance skills and understanding of the communications infrastructure/real estate space.


Responsibilities
Business Case Review

  • Supports review of investment business cases for new expansion opportunities and real estate acquisitions
  • Developments and reviews financial analysis and IRR models for business cases
Capex Approval

  • Responsible for preparing supporting materials for investment approval process and capex prioritization
Investment Analysis

  • Analyze financial and operating performance trends to improve investment decisions
  • Adhoc analysis in support of ESG initiatives
Inventory Planning and Capex Forecasting

  • Responsible for the rollup of planned expansion projects, analyzing capacity trends, and capital forecasts that support the overall corporate financial planning
Project and Program Management

  • Drives communication with internal departments (Americas, Asia Pacific and European, xScale counterparts) to coordinate analysis and validate data
  • Responsible for compiling information to support executive staff/board presentations and management reporting packages including earnings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 03 years of corporate finance, investment banking, or investment experience required
  • Experience in communications infrastructure or real estate sectors a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint including financial models using NPV & IRR including complex functions, arrays, lookups, etc
