Job Summary
We are looking for an Associate for our Corporate Development team in an investment role that supports capital approval and prioritization for multi-billion annual real estate development and investment.
The Corporate Development Associate, Real Estate Investment supports the analysis and evaluation of inventory and long-term capital planning, development, and investment strategy.
Responsibilities
Business Case Review
- Supports review of investment business cases for new expansion opportunities and real estate acquisitions
- Developments and reviews financial analysis and IRR models for business cases
- Responsible for preparing supporting materials for investment approval process and capex prioritization
- Analyze financial and operating performance trends to improve investment decisions
- Adhoc analysis in support of ESG initiatives
- Responsible for the rollup of planned expansion projects, analyzing capacity trends, and capital forecasts that support the overall corporate financial planning
- Drives communication with internal departments (Americas, Asia Pacific and European, xScale counterparts) to coordinate analysis and validate data
- Responsible for compiling information to support executive staff/board presentations and management reporting packages including earnings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 03 years of corporate finance, investment banking, or investment experience required
- Experience in communications infrastructure or real estate sectors a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint including financial models using NPV & IRR including complex functions, arrays, lookups, etc
