We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in facilitating our recruitment efforts to attract top talent in our dynamic industry.

We are seeking a high performer with a passion for recruitment and who wants to build their career in talent acquisition.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Coordinator will have a strong background in high-volume recruitment and have an understanding of full cycle recruitment, from drafting compelling job postings, assisting with phone screens, arranging interviews, conducting reference checks and new hire onboarding.

While there is no typical day on the team, you'll have exposure to a variety of areas, including:

Event Time:

Master the fundamentals that drive our Event Time high volume recruitment efforts by scheduling VidCruiter interviews, managing offers and processing contracts.


  • Recruiting Initiatives &

Special Projects:

As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, you'll have exposure to how we develop and implement recruiting initiatives.

You'll help develop and execute talent attraction and employer branding activities such as marketing campaigns, events, and diversity and inclusion efforts.


This role requires you to be highly organized, with the ability to manage tasks of varying priorities to strict deadlines and an eye for detail.

As part of the role, you should be able to work autonomously, be proactive, and enjoy a busy environment where you can make a real difference and contribute to the overall recruitment agenda.

A passion for continuously improving processes and ways of working is a must.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Oversee the job posting process internally and with external Job Boards (LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Indeed) including crafting job postings with inclusive language.
  • May support full cycle recruitment for entry level requisitions, including hourly and salaried roles.
  • Leads and coordinates ATS updates and supports implementation of new features and optimizes utilization.
  • Participates in recruitment events as required, which may include weekend and evening events.
  • Responsible for coordinating activities through VidCruiter platform, including training hiring managers on its usage.
  • Organize and send psychometric profiling and ability testing where required.
  • Responsible for managing employment contracts through DocuSign.
  • Pulls and/or creates monthly analytics reports as needed.
  • Act as PavCo Ambassador by attending university/college/community partner job fairs and information sessions.
  • Coordinates, participates and improves high volume recruitment hiring events at BC Place and Vancouver Convention Centre.
  • Work with hiring managers on coordinating internship/coop programs with universities and colleges.
  • Reconciles recruitment related invoices.
  • Acts as backup and support to other members of the HR team across the three locations:
Shared Services Office, BC Place Stadium and Vancouver Convention Centre.

  • Develops job aids and train others on Talent Acquisition and HR related procedures and tools.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

years' experience working in a busy, demanding, fast-paced recruitment environment is essential, ideally experience within recruitment agency.

  • Minimum 1year experience with full cycle recruitment in Recruitment/Customer Service or Hospitality and experience providing administrative support in a corporate or HR setting.
  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales or Marketing and/or Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
  • Technologically savvy to leverage technology in optimizing workflows and finding process efficiencies.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of HRIS and ATS.
  • Positive outward attitude, proactive and creative looks to seek out solutions and improvements.
The salary range for this position is $ 54,120 - $67,650.
