Joining the Risk Management team at National Bank means contributing to the transformation and having a direct impact on clients.

As Senior Advisor, Accountability, Cybersecurity and Technology Risks, you will support the implementation of the Bank's risk management strategy and be responsible for the end-to-end accountability and reporting process for cybersecurity and technology risks.

This involves developing, implementing and continuously improving accountability models and metrics, in particular reporting on cybersecurity and technology risks to management and the Board.

Your role

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Cybersecurity and Technology Risk Management, Compliance and Disclosure, you will:
  • Establish and implement accountability reports, processes and models in line with cybersecurity and technology risks
  • Actively participate in defining performance indicators for managing cybersecurity and technology risks
  • Build trustbased, collaborative relationships with business units in the first line of defence to improve the accountability process and continuously obtain the information needed to produce monthly and quarterly accountability reports
  • Develop methods to validate the quality of data processed for accountability reports
  • Produce executive accountability reports for senior management and the Board
  • Contribute to the assessment of cybersecurity and technology risks and controls
  • Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity and technology risk management team

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience or master's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in managing cybersecurity and/or technology risks
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and/or technology risks
  • Experience in implementing accountability reporting processes and tools
  • Experience in the financial services sector
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will work closely with colleagues outside Quebec
Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity governance in largescale organizations
  • Certifications in technology risk management (e.g., CISA, CRISC)
