    Responsibilities


    • Sort purchase orders and invoices;
    • Attach received invoices from suppliers to purchase orders;
    • Verify billed prices and quantities;
    • Perform necessary approval verifications;
    • Input documents into the system by company;
    • Issue and mail checks/EFTs;
    • Reconcile supplier statements;
    • Respond to various supplier inquiries regarding their accounts and expected payments;
    • Address inquiries related to accounts payable;
    • File documents;
    • Monitor payment agreements with suppliers and subcontractors;
    • Track receipts;
    • Manage a team of 1 to 2 accounts payable clerks.
    Qualifications

    • College diploma in accounting or DEP in accounting;
    • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience;
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to influence;
    • Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel;
    • Knowledge of Yardi software (an asset);
    • Bilingualism in spoken and written French/English is essential.
