JOB SUMMARY


Responsible for overseeing and planning loadouts, communicating with drivers, customers (internal and external), dispatch, and assisting with deliveries and escalations.

Work within a Team of Supervisors to support the Delivery Teams and Dispatch as needed and analyze, report, present, and continuously work towards improving all driver's KPI metrics and performance.

Provide outstanding customer service to drivers, clients, and customers.


Shift:
Tuesday to Saturday


Time: 5am to 2pm


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee loadouts of multiple sites, ensuring relevant information and performance metrics are shared with Delivery Teams and internally with Team
  • Confirm proper packing, counting, inspecting, loading, and securing procedures are followed while managing workload and that all production meets or exceeds the Client's quality standards
  • Perform and document standup briefs, deliver associate training and timely feedback, and perform floor audits and vehicle inspections
  • Train, observe and coach the Driver Teams to achieve results through weekly road audits; participate in the performance management process of your Team; support Talent Development; utilize the leadership competencies for others and selfdevelopment
  • Gatherer information via daily calls to customers, analyze and understand successes and failures in meeting KPI goals, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and handle all disciplinary situations appropriately and promptly with appropriate supporting documentation
  • Collaborate and participate in various KPIrelated projects with our Customers and Delivery Partners on a regional or national basis
  • Investigate and respond promptly to missing or damaged items, claims, customer escalations, and calls from Drivers, Helpers, Dispatchers, Team members, and Brokers
  • Follow up with Drivers on their deliveries, proof of deliveries, and service deviation forms, ensuring Drivers abide by customerselected time windows and service level requirements
  • Participate in internal team meetings to review the previous week's results and action plans
  • Maintain close interaction with Customers to develop strong relationships while assessing service needs and sharing opportunities and challenges where appropriate
  • Bill routes in company software and tools as per Delivery Partner (DP) contracts
  • Support in training and upskilling new associates
  • Schedule the labour requirements for the next day and coordinate amongst the team to ensure production goals get met within the budgeted cost structure and labour requirements
  • Flag priority orders and revise schedules to meet outbound orders
  • Assumes additional related responsibilities as required

EXPERIENCE

  • At least three (3) years supervisory experience, preferably in a 3PL Operations role
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and leadership
  • Time management skills and the ability to delegate
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry software
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills solution oriented
  • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems

  • Able to conduct effective dock meetings with all delivery personal & motivate performance
  • Ability to train employees and Delivery Partners on new procedures

EDUCATION

  • Preferably a college diploma in business management with focus in logistics management or the equivalent in experience
