The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

What does a Warehouse Associate do?

Safetyfocused operation of powered equipment: lift trucks, power walkies, pump trucks, and order picking machine
Work safely and efficiently while adhering to all company and health and safety policies and procedures
Effectively load and unload trucks/trailers, placing stock in designated locations
Conduct final inspection of goods leaving the building
Maintain warehouse inventory data system
Proactively maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including exterior walkways and parking areas
Shipping, handling, and receiving duties as assigned
Communication with warehouse and drivers for deliveries or pick ups, work as a team to complete tasks
Takes daily direction from Warehouse Shift Supervisor
Other duties as may be assigned

What do you need?

5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
Raymond Reach Certification and experience considered an asset
Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented
Experience with powered machinery
Basic math, problem solving, and computer skills
Minimum Grade 12 education
Availability to work Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
