MISSION


As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for inspections of incoming, in process and finished products, scheduling & handling measuring and testing devices calibration and repair needs and performing investigation of customer complaints and initiating supplier NCR process.

You will also be responsible for maintaining all documentation within the Quality Assurance Department.

  • Responsible for Incoming Inspection of specific items.
  • Responsible for Final Inspection of all products
  • Enter all orders inspected into finished goods and generate pick lists.
  • Advise production on questions relating to product quality.
  • Approve all
    setups for in house hardware and perform FAI and generate FAIR.
  • Responsible for dealing with quality issues with incoming materials from suppliers.
  • Issue NCRs for nonconforming incoming materials from supplier, internal production department and customer complains.
  • Maintain the measuring & testing devices calibration cycle program.
  • Attend and participate in employee meetings/training.
  • Follow ISO and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in product quality improvement.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and execution of document control
  • Responsible for maintenance of quality records
  • Participate in all nonconforming material handling and corrective action
  • Responsible for rejecting and releasing products per described criteria.
  • Correspondence for documents directly relating to the QC department.
  • Responsible for assisting the EMS management rep with EMS programs and document control.
  • Responsible for the preparation and issue of C of C's and review inspection reports.
  • Responsible for completing, typing and signing of government forms and company surveys.
  • Responsible for Writing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for maintaining originals, typing and
    distributing code sheets and hardware including specs/drawings.
  • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and circulating customer performance reports.
  • Responsible for reporting indicators relating to Quality to finance monthly.
  • Other projects as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Good understanding of ISO9001 / AS9100 requirements.
  • You have a Twoyear college or technical school, and you have 1 to 3 years of quality related experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to use general IT such as ERP, Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. French knowledge would be an asset.
