Job Details:

Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
Hourly Wage: $2024 depending on experience.
Benefits: Companypaid group medical, dental, and insurance.
The Logistics Planner ensures seamless transportation scheduling of outgoing and incoming shipments.
This position understands the impact of these job tasks on other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of outgoing items.
Timely communication with internal customers/stakeholders, and the Norstar shipping and receiving department are essential functions for this position.

Job Duties:

Using ERP electronic Delivery Scheduler, update deliveries and pickup.
Review reports to include other possible products that can be included in deliveries and pickup to optimize the fleet.

Follow current standards and procedures.
Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other tasks as time and skill set allow.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in the windows and doors industry preferred.
Work experience in the shipping and receiving roles is an asset.
Basic mathematical skills.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Excellent data entry skills.
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
