Associate, Operations III


What is the opportunity?


The primary purpose for the Associate, Operations III role is to perform daily oversight on complex processes, provide analysis, and customer service support for exception-based complex and/or highly specialized Operation's processes.

Review, verify, and record data into technology systems supporting department processes.

In addition, research, resolve, or secure requested information for other Operation's areas, RBC Business Units, external customers or industry participants.

Provide thought leadership and implementation support for department process changes, system enhancements, and new initiatives. Address escalated questions independently seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate following established department procedures. Position contains increased elements of risk which are managed through operational reviews, system checks, and adherence to procedures.


What will you do?

  • Provide accurate analysis and processing support for exceptionbased, complex, and/or highly specialized processes within a specific Operation's department. Accurately review, verify, and/or record data into technology supporting department processes. Understand department procedures and required accountabilities in the area or department in which the incumbent works. Refers to department manuals for instructions and task assignments for the specific role.
  • Updating Non-Financial client information with Fund companies
  • Liaise and provide customer service support for individuals requiring research, problem resolution, or securing information from other Operation's departments, RBC Business Units, external customers or industry participants including Mutual Fund Companies. Address escalated questions independently; seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate following established department procedures.
  • Train and act as a resource for other Operation's team members.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • 4year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 2 years of jobrelated experience
  • 1+ year business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience.

Nice to Have

  • 4year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field
  • Working knowledge of Mutual Funds products
  • Wealth Management business knowledge
  • Microsoft Word/Excel knowledge
