Working within the Call Centre, you will be investigating and providing troubleshooting support for any incoming issues related to Husky equipment.

In support of our mission, you may need to work directly with our customers and Regional service technicians to ensure issues are resolved and logged for future reference in our call tracking system.


Key responsibilities include:


Advantage+ Monitoring Centre activities
This role will be the Monitoring Centre technical support specialist in Bolton


Typical daily accountabilities:

  • Remote monitoring of Husky equipment in the field and proactively responding to detected issues
  • Resolution of technical issues identified on connected Husky equipment
  • Development of skills across multiple disciplines, through training and mentoring with current technical support teams
  • Adv+ Monitoring Centre support for our Customers located in the Americas
  • Involvement in the development of tools and processes used to perform the job effectively
  • Working closely with Husky Program Managers for Adv+ contract support

General support and backup of North Americas call center

  • At times you may be required to provide support to the Specialists that receive incoming calls from our Customers
  • Assist customers in diagnosing, identifying and correcting problems with Husky systems. Depending on the situation, this may be accomplished by engaging in troubleshooting activities by telephone, remote computer access
  • Support part searches and activities related to warranty claims
  • Some weekend and afternoon shifts may be required and shall be scheduled accordingly
  • Embrace initiatives that foster business growth and add value to our customers
  • Work effectively with supporting teams (sales, quality, engineering, etc) as necessary

Education, experience, skills and abilities:


  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with new and evolving technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of Systems technology and related mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently and interact effectively and professionally with customers
  • Ability to interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering and service functions
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to obtain and exchange complex technical information
  • Additional language other than English would be considered an asset
  • Some background in salesrelated activities would be an asset
  • Engineering technician/ technologist or trade certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with Husky equipment / Injection Molding equipment including assembly, testing, service and engineering
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with molds process optimization and troubleshooting
