Analyze project specifications and requirements to determine the scope of work
Review blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to accurately estimate project costs
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
Utilize gathered information to determine material and labor costs
Source and procure materials from vendors, ensuring quality and costeffectiveness
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
Evaluate different material options and provide recommendations based on cost and feasibility
Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses
Present estimates to management and clients, explaining the breakdown of costs

Experience as an Estimator or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
Expertise in material planning and procurement
Experience in vendor management and negotiating pricing
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients
