How you will contribute


You are responsible for hands on supervision of overall activities of warehouse, including supervision of shift staff, proper receiving, binning, staging, and shipping goods.

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will:

  • Ensure proper receiving and storage of all raw ingredients, including allergens.
  • Ensure allergens are properly labelled and stored away from nonallergens.
  • Ensure finished goods are kept at the right place and right quantities are shipped at the right time.
  • Supervise daily activity of warehouse employees.
  • Establish and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly priorities with direct reports.
  • Identity and communicate opportunities for process improvements.
  • Track performance and productivity data.
  • Ensure that customer expectations are communicated to the team and exceeded on a regular basic.
  • Conduct daily tours through the warehouse to identify areas of concern i.e., items not stored properly, damages etc.
  • Manage accurate inventory count and to ensure that, physical quantities match with company ERP/WMS.
  • Aid warehouse employees when necessary to store large incoming shipments.
  • Operate forklifts to assist team when shorthanded or busy.
  • All other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management.

What will make you successful

  • College Education and or equivalent education & experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience preferably in the food industry
  • Computer savvy (excel and word) and ERP (preferably SAP) experience an asset.
  • Ability to read and understand measurements and written/verbal instructions
  • Exhibits good communication skills and has ability to work as part of a team
  • Teamoriented, multitasking, leadership and teambuilding skills
  • Ability to follow GMP and HACCP instructions
  • Must be certified with forklift, experience of 3 years plus.
  • JHSC certification is an asset
  • Working hours of 3pm to 11:30pm
