This role is a 20 month term position

What you will do:


  • Own the Demand Planning process, including supporting Sales in maintaining their monthly longterm Demand Forecasts
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Commercial organization, primarily Sales, as well as Product Management & TDL, as key contributors in the planning process
  • Responsible for analyzing variances between demand forecast, sales plan and actual shipments, highlighting major risks & opportunities, to improve demand forecasting
  • Produce executive summary forecast reporting in support of monthly cross functional review meetings and manage tracking and completion of identified actions
  • Deliver monthly Demand Forecasting metrics to the Sales Leadership Team
  • Champion the use of the SAP-IBP planning system maintain quality and completeness of data and provide user support for the planning system as well as collaboration & reporting tools
  • Support the continuous improvement of processes & tools to increase speed, accuracy & insights of the integrated planning process
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IBP tools and processes

What you will bring:


  • Postsecondary education with 5+ years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility
  • Passion for data and problem solving, driven by a high level of curiosity
  • An analytical mindset with excellent critical thinking and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple, concise, and easy to understand way
  • Significant experience with process documentation and a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Comfortable managing tight deadlines & competing priorities
  • Confidence in voicing ideas in a supportive and collaborative team environment
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
  • Experience working in SAP IBP, MSS, SAP, Power Query and/or Power BI, and SharePoint is considered an asset
