Summary:
As an Automotive Service Advisor your job starts by fostering existing Service Customer Relationships, while working with management on strategies to grow and expand Retail & Commercial Service business.
You will be focusing on retention, customer satisfaction and growth of the Retail & Commercial Service Customer portfolio while performing your daily responsibilities of looking after vehicles as they arrive for service as part of your daily job duties.
Description:
The daily job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greet customers and interact with them to understand their vehicle maintenance needs along with any minor repairs or other vehicle performance concerns.
- Verify any vehicle symptoms with a walkaround with customer or on a road test as necessary.
- Prepare the cost estimates including the services and repair costs and the cost of spare parts, if needed.
- Maintain and manage a daily record of repairs and services of vehicles undertaken and completed.
- Ensure delivery of vehicles to customers on time.
- Handle and manage softly the minor complaints and irritants with the customers. Coordinate with management on any required escalations.
- Educate customers on maintaining their vehicles free from troubles and problems.
- Supervise, manage and monitor automotive service technicians and repairers.
- Handle customer inquiries and respond to their needs in a cool, courteous and prompt manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction at the highest level through effective services and repairs.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed and forwarded to customer as required by the Commercial customer and to ensure efficient billing/payment.
Qualifications:
- Several years experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, with a track record of sales and customer service excellence.
- Well organized.
- Comfortable in a fastpaced environment and able to regularly handle 1520 customers per day.
- Selfstart, who is motivated to help dealership achieve goals and objectives.
- Flexible on shifts as some nights and weekends are required.
- Computer literate and well versed in fleet/commercial portals for submission of quotations and billings through third party fleet companies.
- A strong communicator, with a strong relationship building skill set.
- Clean driving record.
- College/University or some postsecondary education is an asset.

- Fast learner and focused on learning new products and services.
- Team player, who can work independently, but who understands the need to work towards the department and dealership goals.
Job Types:

Salary:
$32,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
