We are currently seeking a full timeValet Team Lead for our Toronto Pearson Airport location.
The Team Lead will ensure a smooth-running operation and customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest level of service thresholds and initiatives that are aligned with the expectations of our clients.
Team Leads will act as the ambassador for the company as well as for the Pearson Airport.What you will be doing:
- Coordinate the service experience for valet clientele while working alongside the valet attendants to ensure our service level standards are met or exceeded
- Assist with all customer inquiries and needs, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Train new employees on valet department processes and procedures
- Oversees the productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of all team members.
- Maintain organization throughout the operation by delegating and managing responsibilities amongst the team and ensure their completion in timely manner.
- Ensure to keep the flow of cars consistent and organized
- Coordinate the transition of duties at end of shift with incoming Team Lead
- Responsible for providing direction, staff training, mentoring and staff management
- Continuously always keep safety of self and others in mind
- Park and retrieve vehicles carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner
- Always operate vehicles in a safe manner within the posted speed limit to minimize potential for accidents and/or damage
- Support in creating a positive environment for customers and employees to enjoy
- Promote the importance of exceptional customer relations
- Ensures workspace is clean and well maintained; performs and/or delegates general housekeeping and maintenance responsibilities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
What Are the Working Conditions?
- Operation runs 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
What you bring to table:
- Excellent customer service and problemsolving skills with 2 years experience
- Previous Team Lead or similar experience is considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Cautious and courteous driver, with a valid G license and a clean driving record
- Ability to drive manual transmission is required
- Ability to successfully manage and train employees
- Exceptional multitasking, prioritization, and strong organizational skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and another computer knowledge
- Strong leadership skills are key in this role to achieve maximum productivity
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- A strong team player who can work independently with mínimal supervision
- Detail oriented
