What will you be doing?


You will report directly to the Regional Residential Property Manager as an integral part of our residential real estate team.

You will be the face of Kaneff for our residential tenants. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to multitask will serve you well in this role.

What experience will you bring to the role?
You have well-rounded experience when it comes to ensuring the properties are continuously maintained according to Kaneff's highest standards.

This is a
live-in role, and your customer service experience will be key when it comes to resolving tenant issues and responding to day-to-day tenant inquiries.

You're a Jack-of-all-trades and you know your way around a four-season residential property. Having experience using Yardi Property Management Software to manage open and closed work orders is an asset. Lastly, you are a people-person; you know how to be a team player and work extremely well with others.

  • 23 years property maintenance experience, preferably within mature residential high rise complexes;
  • Mechanically savvy with an ability to troubleshoot a broad range of minor issues and repairs;
  • Team oriented approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Accountabilities:


  • Proactively identify and address various issues within the building common areas such as light bulb/light fixture replacement, garbage removal, drywall/plaster repairs, minor leaks/plumbing repairs, pool resting/maintenance, minor electrical work, door closures, lock changes, snow removal, light landscaping and deep cleaning of garbage rooms, bins or other areas as required;
  • Responding to in suite maintenance tenant work orders as directed by the Regional Manager via Yardi such as basic plumbing, closet door repair/replacement, light carpentry, and drywall/plaster repairs;
  • Completing daily maintenance inspections of all mechanical system, and physical areas of the property and recorded in a daily log;
  • Participating in a scheduled rotational oncall emergency maintenance schedule in the event of critical situation (ie. Flood, fire, life threatening, or building wide loss of heat or water);
  • Identifying to management capitol repairs that would lead to a reduction in required maintenance and any deficiencies in work completed by thirdparty contractors;
  • Supporting the implementation of special or adhoc projects, and complete building inspections.
