About Us:

The Regulatory Centre of Excellence supports the delivery of large regulatory change initiatives on behalf of Canadian Personal Banking. In role you will work with Journeys, Platforms, and Legal, and others to find solutions to complex business challenges.

This role will give you great exposure to multiple Journeys and Platforms and space for you to demonstrate your leadership.

This role reports to the Manager, Regulatory Centre of Excellence (CoE)

  • Your leadership will shine through as you:
  • Act as Associate Manager in a TD Scaled Agile (TDSA) delivery framework
  • Partner and collaborate with stakeholders to identify, develop and execute solutions supporting business objectives
  • Develop strategic recommendations that optimize risk/reward tradeoff
  • Act as an extension of the Journeys to drive shareholder value
  • Provide leadership in defining business needs and identifying potential solutions
  • Research and analyze current business process flows and identify required enhancements to address regulatory changes
  • Exercise strong judgement and decisionmaking skills to drive successful outcomes when the best course of action is ambiguous
  • Support change management activities and to ensure successful and sustainable change, while enhancing the customer and colleague experience
  • Proactively identify and effectively manage risks and issues; provide effective and timely communication of progress and key issues to senior management
  • Prepare and deliver ad hoc presentations as needed
  • Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with key partners

Job Requirements

  • Strong organizational awareness and a broad awareness of compliance and risk management policies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to convey complex ideas, analysis and information in a clear and simple way
  • Promote positive and inclusive team environment and bring a high level of enthusiasm to the team

Experience in any of the following areas will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience working in a Canadian Personal Banking Journey and/or knowledge of TD products and platforms is preferred
  • Previous experience working on end to end Scaled Agile project delivery is an asset
  • Good understanding of the lifecycle of a project, as well as the scope of responsibilities for key project functions is an asset
  • Channel experience
  • Bachelor degree in Business or related field and/or 3+ years of financial industry experience
