Description

The HRBP will provide support in the execution of corporate HR initiatives for Clarion by driving HR programs and employee relations initiatives.

Contribute to the overall success of the business by collaborating with the HR Director and executing HR competencies as a Business Partner, Credible Activist, Change Champion and Talent Coach.


The successful applicant will:


  • Write and communicate policies and procedures that will ensure best practices in consideration of legal and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure that the company is in compliance with all employment regulations by Province across Canada.
  • Requirements to be supported with training, documentation, records management and reporting.
  • Health and Safety management
  • Assist with legal matters and terminations
  • Assist leaders in ensuring their teams wellness and performance in recruiting, retaining and developing their people.
  • Identify training needs and as needed facilitate
  • Career Development / career pathing
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Communication lead to ensure effective communication, promotion, engagement and involvement to support goals and initiatives
  • Be a passionate and proactive culture ambassador and work closely with the HR Director to keep the positive efforts of workplace culture initiatives.
  • Support leaders with stay interviews and creating retention plan in collaboration with HR Director
  • Assist with Employee Engagement initiatives and special projects
  • Post Secondary education in Human Resources Management
  • CHRP or CHRL designation
  • 8+ years Human Resources experience preferably within the packaging, pharma and/or medical technology equipment sector
  • Understanding of HR related laws, principles and practices
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (including oral and written communication), exercising diplomacy and tact
  • Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic team player
