Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:


  • Based out of the Arc'teryx office within North Vancouver, you'll be supporting the VP, Guest Services and VP, ReBIRD. You're a master in the art of organization, with a particular knack for scheduling, time and travel management. The leader you support will be set up for success by your prompt correspondence and positive, proactive, solutionbased approach. Your natural adaptability allows you to flourish in an environment that often requires nimble rearrangements, and you consistently remain calm, cool and collected while balancing multiple priorities.

Meet Your Future Team:


  • You will be part of the Commercial
  • Guest Services department and reporting into the VP, Guest Services, while collaborating with a team of highperforming Executive Assistants in providing exceptional support to our Executive team across the business.

If you were the Executive Assistant now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Providing exceptional administrative support with scheduling and calendar management
  • Tracking action items and ensuring their completion
  • Ensuring clear communication and alignment across multiple departments
  • Organizing and submitting expense reports in a timely manner
  • Organizing international and domestic travel arrangements
  • Developing agendas, meeting minutes, and presentation materials
  • Coordinating and supporting team "liveit" activities, such as planning and executing social and inoffice events for the Guest Services team
  • Taking on special projects as assigned by Executive

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Developing and implementing process improvements to enable effective operations within the function/s you support
  • Organizing the biweekly huddle scheduling, deck and presenters
  • Working towards your own professional development goals based on your areas of interest in the business
  • Supporting a different Commercial Leader

Are you our next Executive Assistant?:

  • You have 3+ years of Executive Assistant experience
  • You're a whiz with the Microsoft Office suite and have excellent business acumen
  • You have great time management skills, and naturally utilize sound judgement and prioritization when multitasking and juggling competing priorities with confidence
  • You have strong emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • You know how to prioritize and effectively manage the logistics of an executive's schedule: prereads, agendas and following up on action items are second nature to you
  • You're not afraid of meeting new people, building relationships and creating partnerships across the organization
  • You have a natural ability for getting to know an executive's business, team, and way of working, and use this knowledge in your work to help best contribute to their success
  • You have a notsosecret skill as a travel agent and are able to manage complex international multileg travel, often requiring continuous changes and rescheduling
  • You are able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays occasionally as needed to support our global business
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
