    Description

    Role Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Manager Service Continuity and Audit Services, the Service Continuity Lead will lead, conduct and maintain an audit framework to ensure efficient response to audits by Office of the Auditor General (OAG), Corporate Internal Audit Service (CIAS) and other external audit bodies. They will also use the framework to support compliance with different audit initiatives.

    Responsibilities:
    Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and champion ISMD (Information Security Management Directives ) compliance tools to support the GoA's adherence to Information Security Management Directives.
  • Applying the knowledge of reports and analytics to suggest, create and review Standard Operating Procedures based on Security Control Objectives of the GoA.
  • Liaising with with operational teams for the collection and collation of documentation in support of Audits requests.
  • Encouraging relationships with stakeholders and beneficial stances of maintaining adherences to ISMD directives to aid continuous improvement.
  • Clarifying and/or identifying potential items that are trending in importance to audit bodies to leadership.

    • The Service Continuity Lead will also conduct mitigation planning of audit findings:

  • Interpret audit findings, prioritize, and accelerate those of high priority are addressed first.
  • Create mitigation plans for successful future audits.
  • Liaise with operational teams, Service Owners and Project Managers on activities pertaining to advancing audit recommendations.
