Job Summary:
In consultation with the Program Manager, the Rehabilitation Care Worker supports persons with disabilities by providing life skills training and support services for clients regarding issues such as personal care, access to community leisure programs, housekeeping duties, planning and preparing meals, booking medical appointments and organizing a weekly schedule.
The Rehabilitation Care Worker empowers the client(s) to perform all aspects of daily living as independently as possible, providing support and intervention where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Recent related experience working with the brain injured or other disabled population
- Current certification and documents in the following areas: emergency first aid or
and experience
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- The use of a personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and other outings

Schedule:
8 Hours shift (7.5 paid+ break)
Day shift - Between 8am-6pm
Evening shift - Between 12pm-9pm
COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination. Covid-19 protocols include enhanced cleaning, visitor screening, and mask protocols.
Experience:
Support worker: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Emergency First Aid Certificate (preferred)
Must HaveClass-5 BC driver's License
