Position Summary:


In collaboration with the Learning and Development manager you will lead the design and development of leadership and team member learning, and the development of talent activities and programs across the organization to drive performance and meet the needs of our business growth.

You'll act as a strategic learning partner consulting with business stakeholders in the identification of the current and future organizational development needs of our people.


Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, the Leadership Development partner will be instrumental in the relaunch of the Riverside University in 2023.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • The Leadership Development partner is responsible for contributing to the development and execution of learning strategies, plans and initiatives ensuring alignment with the business and Riverside's learning strategy. The position, in partnership with internal Human Resources (HR) stakeholders consults with and advises business leaders on learningrelated topics, opportunities, and strategies. The role works closely with business line leadership teams to identify and implement solutions that meet the development needs of the business.

Main Responsibilities Development and Delivery of Programs

  • Collaborate to develop and ensure Riverside's network of relationships, systems and operational knowledge is shared across the network
  • Participate and represent learning in the strategic business plan development, ongoing business meetings, and decisions with business line leaders
  • Deliver input and feedback on program design and provide recommendations on program execution
  • Collaborate with internal partners and crossfunctionally to assess performance needs and curate learning programs to address the needs
  • Ensure successful deployment of learning programs across the organization
  • Employ a performance consulting approach to ensure that learning solutions address defined performance gaps
  • Utilize a wide range of data to proactively identify themes and trends to recommend effective learning strategies to meet the business needs
  • Maintain new and ongoing relationships with external vendors and networks to ensure currency and relevancy of training industry trends and best practices
  • Leverage knowledge to implement solutions that enhance strategies, programs, and processes
  • Identify the right learning strategy and solutions to meet business objectives and provide strategic direction for the business as we relaunch Riverside University
  • In collaboration with the L&D manager, create an annual learning strategy for specific learning programs to address business needs aligned with budget and strategic priorities

Qualifications/ Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**- Minimum of 8 years of experience in leadership development programs

  • CTP or CTDP (Certified Training Development Professional) designation preferred
  • Articulate Storyline or other authoring tool knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of Instructional design and adult learning methodologies
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite of tools, i.e.) PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with Intertek Alchemy learning tools is an as
