Position Overview


The
Site Supervisor is accountable for directing, organizing and controlling project activities under the direction of a Project Manager (PM).


Key Responsibilities:


  • Liaison between client and project appraisers
  • Prepare timetables on projects
  • Assign, schedule and manage subcontractors with budget guidelines
  • Secure materials selection and accurate ordering
  • Ensure that worksite is clean and follows safety guidelines
  • Obtaining approval for all work and subtrades and any orders that have to be changed
  • Preparation and correction of project deficiencies
  • Site walk through and obtaining clients approval and sign off
  • Adhere to project completion dates
  • Report to and assist senior project managers
  • Prepare weekly report on job progress, problems and solutions
  • Coordinate the care/protection of client belongings during the restoration process
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as per the needs of the business (with availability for on call rotation)

Required Knowledge and Experience:


  • 3 years of work experience in the Construction/Restoration industry


  • Proficient software skills

  • MS office suite
  • IICRC (WRT, FSRT) is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of residential/commercial construction techniques and current building codes
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently within a team environment or independently
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong drive to see project through to completion
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Periodic travel may be required
  • Valid G/G2 driver's license
