    Explore Surveys Inc. is more than just a survey company. Our skilled professionals deliver a wide suite of services including Geomatics, Engineering, Asset Integrity, and Regulatory Compliance.

    And we are looking for an out-going, positive team player to help us build our clientele in Grande Prairie .

    The Business Development Representative, under the direction of the Vice President of Business Development, will primarily be responsible for identifying growth opportunities with existing clients and new potential clients with the goal of increasing assets under protection at Explore.

    In addition, the Business
    Development Representative will be responsible for populating and updating the company's CRM database and assisting with marketing activities.
    As a company representative in direct contact with the existing and potential customers, the Business Development

    Business Development Representative will maintain membership in various organizations and associations (Explore will cover the costs associated with membership).

    Attention to detail Customer centric focus Ability to take technical
    Working closely with operations to educate clients/prospects about business solutions
    Identify opportunities to solve business problems in new ways that are valuable to the client and Explore
    Populating and delivering proposals, contracts, and sales presentations to clients/prospects using department approved templates
    Tracking progress/sales activities and reporting goals in the CRM
    Attending tradeshows and other networking events
    Assisting with BD documentation
    Maintaining the BD calendar
    Liaising with internal teams such as Project Managers, Engineers, etc.
    Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing (preferred)
    Resourceful in all Microsoft Office applications
    Enjoys collaborating with clients to solve business problems and asking thought provoking questions
    Valid Class 5 Drivers License (some travel required)
    Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holiday
