New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Assistant Petroleum Team Leader in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

What you'll do:


  • Provide an excellent customer experience
  • Responsible for the daytoday management of all aspects of the cardlock including scheduling of Team Members, ordering, receiving, merchandising, and accurate pricing of products
  • Provide training, leadership, and direction to Team Members within the department
  • Assist in the development and achievement of operational and budgetary goals including, sales, margins, expenses, inventory management and shrinkage control
  • Ensure all Team Members perform their duties in compliance with established health and safety regulations
  • Responsible for the preparation, completion, and final approval of performance reviews and development action plans
  • Transporting of hazardous materials as required
  • Ordering of fuel and petroleum products
  • Inside and outside sales promotions
  • Other duties, as assigned

Who you are:


  • Must have a valid Class 3 driver's license, with air endorsement
  • High School Diploma
  • Work experience in Petroleum with knowledge in Fuel and Lubricant products.
  • Knowledge of the North Peace Region
  • Skilled with computer programs, including Microsoft Office 36
  • Able to work independently or in a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work on a very flexible schedule with the ability to work up to 50 hours weekly and have on call availability
