    Description
    The NBCC Foundation is evolving, are you the person we are looking for?

    We need someone with accounting experience, who wants to help us create the operating processes of the account clerk position and get us back up to date on our bookkeeping (sage software).

    We are currently offering a contract that could lead to long-term employment if its the right fit for you.

    Yet, it is more than bookkeeping.

    You will need to utilize your best skills since it involves multiple elements that need to come together to fit with the other components of the Foundation.

    We will support you in being autonomous and invite you to manage the contract, in collaboration with the director, as your knowledge and experience suggest.

    To achieve this, youll be joining a close-knit, friendly, collaborative team in a relaxed office atmosphere. Youll have your own office with a door so you can minimize interruptions to favour your workflow.

    Also, all members of the team have flexibility to adjust their work schedule to fit their needs with an option to work remotely part of the week.

    Is bilingual:
    French and English (oral/written)* Can explain and understand moderately complex contexts, in both languages.

    ~ Has knowledge of accounting programs (Sage 50 is an asset) and accounting concepts.

    ~ As good understanding of Microsoft Excel. Experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping.

    ~ Having experience in the operation of charities and/or non-for-profit organism is an asset.


    This is important, amongst other things, for getting the bookkeeping up to date, working the database, the creation of the necessary processes and communication with the team.

    ~ The Foundation is a small team that needs all its members. Data entry in Sage 50 for the fiscal year 2023/2024
    Keep the data entry and 2024s months end up to date
    Produce the report and Sage documents for the 2023 audit
    Together, find the best way to use Sage for the data needed in the daily tasks.
    Suggestion, restructuring and when necessary creation of new processes/documentation for the new bank, new tools and the addition of Sage 50
    Creation/revision of the documentation (digital and physical instruction binder) for the accounting clerk position.

    Potential option:
    Participation in the hiring and training process of the long-term hire if applicable.

    The office is at the NBCC college, Moncton campus.

    Nous avons besoin dune personne dexperience en comptabilite, qui souhaite nous aider a creer les processus doperations du poste de commis a la comptabilite (account clerk) et de nous remettre a jour dans la tenue de livres (logiciel Sage).

    Nous offrons presentement un contrat, avec potentiel dun emploi a long terme s'il vous convient.

    Mais cest plus que la tenue de livres.

    Vous serez soutenus pour etre autonomes et vous serez invite a gerer le contrat, en collaboration avec la direction, comme le dicte votre savoir et experience.

    Cest un travail significatif qui vous permettra de laisser une empreinte de votre creativite dans une organisation qui aide les etudiants a acceder a des aides financieres cles pour poursuivre leur carriere.

    Vous aurez votre propre bureau avec une porte pour minimiser les interruptions et favoriser votre flux de travail.

    Nous avons une approche non hierarchique dans le but dencourager la communication et la circulation didees tandis que toutes les contributions sont valorisees dans cet environnement d'apprentissage.


    Est bilingue :

    francais et anglais (oral/ecrit) *As la capacite dexpliquer et comprendre un contexte de complexite moyenne dans les deux langues.

    ~ As une connaissance des logiciels et concepts de comptabilite, de preference le logiciel Sage 50.

    ~ As une base solide avec Microsoft Excel. As de lexperience en comptabilite et/ou tenue de livres.

    ~ Sappliquera, entre autres, a la mise a jour de la tenue de livre, de la base de donnees, la creation des processus necessaire et la communication avec lequipe.

    ~ Vous serez expose et devrez travailler avec les donnees personnelles de certaines personnes. Saisis des donnees de lannee fiscal 2023/2024 dans Sage 50
    Maintenir a jour la saisie des donnees et les fins de mois 2024

    Suggestion, restructuration et lorsque necessaire creation de nouveau processus/documentation pour la nouvelle banque, les nouveaux outils et laddition de Sage 50.

    Creation/revision de la documentation digitale et physique (cahier dinstruction) du poste de commis a la comptabilite.
