Position:
Service Coordinator

Milani Plumbing, 5526 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC. Vancouver's largest plumbing service company is seeking experienced Service Coordinator to join our award-winning team.


Our company's customer base is continuing to grow and expand and we are experiencing an increase in service and installation calls.

This is a position that will work closely with our Inside Sales team. We are looking for outgoing and dependable individuals who are extremely organized and have an eye for financials. We are looking to fill this position immediately.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate service related activities, including but not limited to service calls, service maintenance, service repair, and service replacement.
  • Coordinating with our staff and customers to manage the schedule
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and Service Team to ensure that all service orders are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the service order database by entering all necessary information into the database in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records by following proper documentation procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, subcontractors, etc. regarding the status of their order and or request.
  • Participate in customer relations meetings to foster a positive working environment.
  • Keeping track of the availability and location of our technicians
  • Tracking and reporting turnaround times
  • Scheduling city inspections
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP systems a plus (WebPage etc.)).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
  • Attention to detail required.

Education, Experience, and Language:

  • Min. secondary school education is required
  • Bachelors Degree or significant experience in one or all of the following: Finance, Business, Operations, Accounting
  • Must be functional in English

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
