    We are looking for an upbeat customer focused Manager of Product Development.

    Helping us focus on understanding and assessing the competitiveness of Aviva Canada's PI products, finding opportunities for improvement, and working collaboratively across the organization to bring enhanced products to market.

    Own the planning and development of product reviews and make recommendations to improve or retire products where applicable
    Independently lead the end-to-end development and implementation of actions resulting from the recommendations of the post-launch product reviews and/or ad-hoc product initiatives

    Lead various product development initiatives, collaborating with all applicable partners across the organization while adhering to applicable governance standards.

    Support senior product managers in driving initiatives, performing analyses, and driving actions
    Successful delivery of product initiatives – new products, simplifications to existing products, the retirement of old products
    Undergraduate degree in business or other related field, or equivalent experience
    Candidates with prior experience in product development and/or product management preferred
    Detailed knowledge of personal insurance products and the regulatory environment is an asset
    Disciplined and organized – strong project management skills
    Ability to summarize key insights and recommendations in senior management communications
