About the role

Branch Location: 16 York Street, Toronto


Responsibilities:


  • Work with Mortgage Broker and Mortgage Product teams to drive process redesign, product maintenance, tactical product plans and launches, and the development and implementation of new WPB mortgage broker customer journeys
  • Monitor and understand external conditions, including markets, competition, demographics, and regulations to ensure Mortgage broker products and customer journeys meet customer needs while maintaining market competitiveness and profitability
  • Support the management of the key teams within the Mortgage broker channel, providing oversight, coaching and feedback, to continue to improve the quality of the process and interactions with the broker
  • Assist in onboarding and development of broker relationships
  • Drives outcomes in line with business strategies and goals
  • Supports our front line and broker staff to deliver excellence in customer experience
  • Work with local and global teams to ensure adequate risk and control frameworks are in place and monitored
  • Develops and builds effective working relationships with vendors, front line staff, and key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area
  • Complies with all relevant lending processes and procedures and Credit & Risk policy

  • Meet individual performance targets and service expectations
Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with mortgages, with a good understanding of the mortgage processes, policies and the mortgage industry
  • Proven history in coaching, leading, training and problem solving
  • Experience in handling multiple tasks and reprioritisation
  • Strong sense of Company and business objectives
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills, and ability to influence, coach and train others. Proficient in Office.
  • Ability to anticipate, act proactively, and work both autonomously and as part of a team. Includes ability to work with multiple stakeholders and build relationships across multiple departments
  • High degree of ownership and constructive sense of urgency.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities, tight turnarounds and multiple deadlines
  • Detailed orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
