This is a full-time, permanent position working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The Professional Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Branch is looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual who is interested in joining our busy office as a Licensing and Intake Officer.

Essential Qualifications

Postsecondary course work in business, law or administration (or other related field) would be considered an asset.
Experience assessing materials for specified requirements, ideally legislated requirements examples include financial statements, qualifications, proof of education and criminal record checks/discipline
Experience analyzing problems, identifying solutions and independent decision making
Experience in a regulatory environment would be an asset

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability

Experience in effective priority setting in a busy environment
Ability to interact proficiently with licensed professionals and other stakeholders in a crosscultural setting;
Experience working in a team environment with critical deadlines requiring the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
The ability to solve problems and adapt to regulatory changes;
The ability to work independently as well part of a team to achieve our objectives.
