About Bench Brewing:


Located in the heart of Niagara's wine country, the Bench brewery is located on the site of the historic Maple Grove Public School in Beamsville, Ontario.

Our brewery is a place for our guests to relax, learn, and experience the craft of brewing beer.


The Bench Brewing campus sits across eight beautiful acres of farmland and features a 50hL brewing system, a tap and tasting room, a beer garden, a 'funk house' for our wild ale and barrel fermentation program, and our very own hops field.

Our property houses a beautiful church built in 1938 that has been converted to the Fieldstone at Bench facility.

It has an indoor seating capacity of approximately 70 guests and during the warmer seasons the events lawn can seat up to 225 guests.


Bench is a certified B Corporation and strives to be a leader in sustainability, having achieved a zero-wastewater footprint and Carbon Neutral certification by Radicle Climate Smart.


In March 2020, Bench Brewing acquired the Niagara Cider Company whose goal is to craft dry, flavorful, and balanced ciders using the bounty of all the fruits that Niagara and Ontario have to offer.

Niagara Cider has quickly become a top selling Ontario Craft Cider brand as well as winning multiple awards for their family of ciders.


The Role:


The primary role of the Inside Sales Coordinator is to support the sales team in meeting our sales targets by ensuring our portfolio of brands that includes Bench Brewing and Henderson Brewing craft beers, Niagara Cider Company ciders gets into the hands of our customers.

This is a great role for a detail-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude who loves working with a fun team to move our business forward.

The dynamic role includes everything from taking customer orders, supporting the creation of sales pitch materials, coordinating sampling programs, and generally helping to grow our brands in the trade.

The inside sales coordinator is a crucial member of our sales team and will always be ready and willing to support wherever is needed.


Responsibilities:


  • Accurately processing sales orders in our internal systems and ensuring delivery coordination with our logistics team.
  • Manage customer accounts to: promote on time payments, reconcile discrepancies, and keep payment information up to date, ensuring all communication is recorded.
  • Initiate required action for response to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicates changes to the appropriate people/departments.
  • Receive inquiries from and/or contacts other departments to resolve a variety of orderrelated issues/needs.
  • Utilize internal systems to obtain and pull order information to provide customer service expertise
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures regarding customer service.
  • Supporting the sales representatives in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that we have no outofstock.
  • Actively contact selected prospects to evaluate a potential partnership with Bench Brewing and share information/recommendation with territory manager.
  • Work with other departments to resolve problems, facilitate solutions and enhance customer service.
  • Prepare, generate, and distribute daily sales orders and supporting documents to distribution department ontime and accurate.
  • Provide backup support to other group members in the performance of job duties as required
  • Supporting the planning and execution of consumer samplings and other trade activations, including festivals and events.
  • Supporting the development, procurement and distribution of trade materials as required
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Qualifications/Key Competencies Required:


  • Energetic, motivated, enthusiastic, and diligent.
  • A postsecondary education, ideally in business administration or a related field.
  • Strong communications skills and a dedication to customer service.
  • Great organizational skills and the ability to be proactive in anticipating our customers' needs.
