A day in the role as a Resident Support Aide:

As a Resident Support Aide at The Wellington Nursing & Retirement Homeyou will be placed in a role with high expectations to provide exemplary support needs for the residents of our home.

In this position you will be apart of our team, and will be responsible for but not limited to:

In charge of screening in all personnel into the building (staff, caregivers, residents etc.)
Monitors testing requirements and tracking tools for covid19 testing
Assists the Reception staff when needed (covers phone during the break, sorting mail etc.)
Helps keep the lobby area clean, watering plants and assiting residents
Ensures privacy of residents during performance of duties

Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to read, write and understand oral and written instructions.
Must have or obtain a clear vulnerable sector screen (police check), and TB test.
