- The E1 – Engineer in Training performs supervised engineering tasks using standard procedures and techniques to support projects and/or operations at BC Hydro safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
- Support Generation Capital projects from design to implementation phase
- Update Network infrastructure Engineering Drawings using AutoCAD
- Configure and integrate intelligent electronic devices
- Participate in the development of job aids and/or engineering standards
- Participate in FAT testing of the communication/network cabinets
- Registered Engineer in
- Training with Engineers & Geoscientists BC or another jurisdiction and/or eligible for registration as such with Engineers & Geoscientists BC
- Familiarity with CAD systems
- Attention to detail, and the ability to learn and apply new skills as required.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills

This Operational Technology (OT) services Engineering role has special emphasis on the design and support of the industrial networks at the Generating stations and integration of Industrial Control Systems.
Successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of 10 Engineers and IT Advisors that interacts with internal and external stakeholder resources in delivering a number of projects or initiatives related to Generation Infrastructure and Cyber Security.
