About the Role
3D Printing Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented finance professional to take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and support financial visibility across the business.
This is a hands-on role focused on accounting, reporting, and financial coordination within an e-commerce and distribution environment.You will work directly with ownership and external accounting partners to maintain accurate financial records, improve processes, and support informed decision-making.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the numbers, strengthening financial structure, and contributing to a growing operational business.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Operations
Manage daily and weekly QuickBooks entries and reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable and vendor payment scheduling
Coordinate payroll processing
Process non-ecommerce customer payments (wire transfers, PO transactions, etc.)
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and credit facilities
Support cash tracking and financing schedules
Coordinate with external accountants for month-end and year-end
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare weekly financial summaries for ownership
Produce monthly financial statements with commentary
Support margin analysis by product and vendor
Monitor inventory value and purchasing trends
Assist with cash flow forecasting
Track financial KPIs and targets
Purchasing & Vendor Support
Review vendor pricing and commercial terms
Support landed cost and margin tracking
Ensure vendor payment accuracy and discipline
Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency
Process Improvement
Strengthen financial workflows and documentation
Assist with budgeting structure
Establish reporting consistency and controls
Create and maintain SOPs for finance processes
Qualifications
5+ years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or similar finance roles
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks
Experience in e-commerce, distribution, or inventory-based businesses preferred
Comfortable working with purchasing and cost data
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Highly organized and detail-driven
Comfortable working directly with ownership
High integrity and accountability
CPA designation is an asset but not required.
Work Environment

Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$55,000–$70,000 CAD, based on experience and qualifications
Full-time, permanent position
