Mission
- The _
Assistant_ _will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and would ideally have experience in a construction environment, or office manager type of role. This individual would be required to prepare my meeting materials, executive meeting notes, initiatives, handling resolutions, organize the Project Manager's schedule, and related matters etc._ - We are growing fast in Canada and we need you_
Responsibilities
- Execute clerical and general office duties such as setting up filing systems, data entry, typing, copying, ordering office supplies, and other administrative tasks for special projects as requested
- Coordinate meeting logistics and deliverables including detailed minutes
- Act as point of contact for various construction services teams
- Filling, printing, documents arrangement, meeting setup and arrangement
- Perform intensive research as required
- Organize company events
- Book internal and external meeting halls as required
Profile
- Civil Engineering or Construction background. Minimum five (5) years equivalent experience.
- Experience workings on similar projects. Strong preference for project coordinators, EITs.
- Excellent ability writing/ speaking in English. French and/or Spanish will be considered as a plus.
- Familiar with construction projects terminologies, such as RFI, construction schedule, NCR, Agreement, minutes of meeting, contracts.
- Have a good understanding of organizational chart for similar projects and how lines communication work.
- Familiar with contractual terminologies such as DRB, Claims, NOC, delay.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Experience with the use of management programme such as In-Eight, Unifier, Aconex, CM14 or similar
- Fast learner, dynamic
- Solid presentation skills and verbal / written communication skills
- Project Coordination skill is an asset
Salary:
From $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON M5C 3G7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
