Job Summary
The Digital Printer is responsible for operating and maintaining HP Digital printers in an efficient, effective and safe manner. Complete work in accordance with the schedule and quality standards.


Accountabilities

  • Review all proofs and final product on digital equipment before releasing to integral production. Run full QC check before beginning
  • Operate press(s) including loading press, operate computer systems, maintain ink levels
  • Conduct regular and as needed maintenance to equipment.
  • Complete paperwork and records as required, i.e. Preventative maintenance, materials usage, timesheets
  • General housekeeping keep work area clean and tidy.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Requirements:


  • 35 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience and knowledge in the operation of HP Presses
  • Technical or community college diploma in graphic design, computing, mechanical is an asset
  • Troubleshooting and mechanical skill
  • Attention to detail is key
  • The ability to enable cooperation with all levels of internal and external contacts, strong sense of urgency and the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Welldeveloped analytical and problem solving competencies with strong initiative, sound judgment, and decisiveness
  • Dynamic, selfmotivated, with the ability to work independently and proactively
