Department Front Office Reports to General Manager

Full time employment of 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm.

$16.00 per hour


Job Summary
Directly supervises all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties. Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, reservations, member services, and telephone. Orchestrates continuous front desk training on systems and procedures and customer service.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Selecting, training, supervising, scheduling, developing, disciplining, and counseling associates in the Front Office area of the Winnipeg Winter Club.
  • Inventory and coordinate the ordering front desk supplies. Complete a bi-weekly order of required materials.
  • Confer and cooperate with other department managers to ensure coordination of WWC activities. Maintains working relationships and communicates with all Departments.
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to WWC policies and services.
  • Review, comply with, and enforce the company's Policies.
  • Ensure the Front Desk and front lobby area is kept well organized and clean.
  • Model and provide superior customer service in all member and guest interactions.
  • Promote WWC programs, events and services.
  • Be an ambassador for the WWC.
  • Resolve all members matters quickly, efficiently, and courteously through partnering and communicating with other departments.
  • Follow up on daily matters in the Front Desk Daily Communication binder and other pertinent activities.
  • Ensure that all operating equipment in the area is in good working condition and regularly maintained.
  • Record all incidents during shift, action taken and follow up if necessary.
  • Supervise daily shift process ensuring that all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management and department heads.
  • Send weekly reminders to department heads for blog pieces. Compile all information and send bi
- weekly blog.


  • Conduct scheduled meetings of front office personnel when required.
  • Ensure all online bookings and reservations and correct.
  • Check in members for their classes and registrations.

Salary:
From $16.00 per hour
