Accounts Payable Clerk - Montréal, Canada - Entrepôt Trans-Plus Inc

Our company, a logistic management, distribution and warehousing enterprise is expanding and requires the right person to join their team and contribute to the on-going success of their operation.
We are currently looking for a talentedAccounts Payable Clerk to join the Accounting Team
The main responsibilities are:
- Assist in entering and processing invoices and payments,
- Verify and reconcile supplier statement of accounts,
- Prepare payments to vendors by check or EFT based on agreed terms,
- Followup on invoices and payments with discrepancies or disputes,
- Organizing and filing,
- Answer, screen and direct calls,
- Scan and file documents electronically,
- Any other administrative tasks related to accounting.
Qualifications:
- DEC, AEC, or DEP in Accounting;
- Relevant experience in accounts payable, preferably in the supply chain industry;
- Bilingualism: English and French, spoken and written;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel intermediate, Outlook);
- Autonomy and teamwork are essential;
- Very good organizational and timemanagement skills;
- Ability to establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- MONTREAL, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Accounts payable: 2 years (preferred)
