As the Manager of Employee Relations you will provide leadership, direction and consultative support to ensure the effective management of employee relations functions across the organization.

You will support the execution and implementation of strategic Human Resources (HR) programs, tactics and strategic projects to ensure organizational and HR objectives are met.

You will ensure workplace practices are maintained at the highest level of integrity and professionalism including upholding the ethics, values and brand of the organization.


How you will create impact:


  • Leading a team of HR professionals in providing best practices and developing strategies in response to employee relations matters as they arise.
  • Supporting management development through conducting debriefs, collaborating and providing guidance on complex employee relations matters including performance management, development planning, employee engagement, health and safety and conflict resolution.
  • Creating department operational plans to identify priorities and scope of activities for the team, ensuring plans align with organizational objectives, allocating resources and identifying efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.

To join our team:


  • You have 710 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • You have a postsecondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • You have the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or a related HR designation in addition to the following certifications: Prosci, Employment Standards, Workplace Investigations and Mental Health.

What you need to know:


  • You will travel occasionally.
  • You are required to have your own vehicle, valid driver's license and insurance.
  • As a leader, strict confidentiality is required with respect to sensitive matters and employees' personal information.
