About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) OR Sales Development Representative (SDR) to actively seek new business opportunities and engage and build relationships with potential customers (merchants) to help accelerate our current growth.
Key Responsibilities
As the BDR/ SDR, you will be responsible for:
Conduct research to understand an interested prospect's business to have meaningful conversations with your contact
Engage in conversation with prospects to discover pain points and present TBYB's value prop
Schedule meetings with the prospect and a Blackcart Account Executive to continue discovery and demo a TBYB solution
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Requirements:
Essential
Previous experience as an SDR/BDR or similar role or business/commerce/general graduate who is looking to kick start their career in tech.
Experience working with a CRM, such as Salesforce.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent problem-solving skills in navigating a sales relationship with a prospect to understand their pain points and effectively position a solution
Working foundational knowledge of how SaaS products operate for customers
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Desirable
Experience in the ecommerce industry
Experience with working in a high-growth startup environment
Love animals (It's likely that our CHOs, Chief Happiness Officers - Harvey and Unagi - will be sitting in on your interview)
