Job Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join the team as Content Specialist at Tricon Residential.

Reporting to the Manager, Brand and Corporate Affairs, you will contribute to a wide range of initiatives that are intended to inform, inspire and foster authentic connections with our key stakeholders:
employees, residents, partners, investors and the communities we serve.


As a key member of the Corporate & Public Affairs (C&PA) team, you are responsible for developing and executing a variety of internal and external communication initiatives, including strengthening our corporate brand and its promotion across all relevant digital channels and creating communications, assets and programs designed to effectively convey Tricon's purpose, principles and key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, HR, property, development, ESG, investor relations and C&PA etc. teams) to identify and develop compelling creative that showcases resident stories, field experiences, company and highlights our culture
  • Partner with digital marketing to edit, curate and create visually appealing and engaging content (graphics, videos and other multimedia content) for the intranet, announcements, presentations, fact sheets, social media platforms and other digital channels using our existing brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (digital marketing, HR, property, development, ESG, investor relations and C&PA etc. teams) to create a content calendar for LinkedIn and TriconOne; align content with company verticals including corporate news/ announcements, talent acquisition and retention, DIB, etc., ensuring regular and consistent posting
  • Strategize with digital marketing to implement best practices for engagementgrowth on TriconOne and LinkedIn
  • Work with C&PA to coordinate and manage the production of inhouse marketing materials with a keen focus on template
- and framework-driven assets

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate brand messaging and visual identity in campaigns and plans
  • Work with external agencies, as needed, to create content that is onbrand, onstrategy, leverages current platform trends and is true to Tricon's brand style, voice, and aesthetic
  • Develop and lead the internal brand ambassador "content champion" program
  • Repurpose and optimize existing content for maximum engagement and reach
  • Assist with the creative process and execution for content capture at inperson events including internal company events, executive photo shoots and video productions; responsible for team headshots and employee and office photography
  • Help create briefs and compile reference files for projects involving external design partners and creatives
  • Optimize files and formats for respective channel requirements
  • Manage creative assets folders, including photography and video assets
  • Create and enforce guidelines/templates/graphics usage for consistent branding
  • Develop and track workback schedules for larger internal projects like the Annual Report, ESG, videos, Founders' Day, Sponsorship activations, etc.
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, communication tools and services on an ongoing basis and make insightful recommendations to the C&PA team
  • Support the coordination and execution of internal and external events, including planning, scheduling, content and asset development and developing the run of show as needed
  • Research, write, copyedit, proofread and curate compelling content for internal and external communications as needed
  • Foster a positive and engaging work culture within the C&PA team, as well as across the organization. Lead by example, promoting teamwork, collaboration and open communication
  • Provide administrative support to the C&PA team on a variety of projects including helping to prepare media briefing documents, wrapup reports, event scheduling, contract preparation, invoice processing and tracking payments and updating budget expenditures
