WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain, the Supervisor is a member of the Supply Chain management team. This individual provides direction, leadership, support, and guidance in day-to-day activities within the Supply Chain department.

The Supervisor facilitates the performance of all duties in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures and is accountable in ensuring the highest level of Supply Chain service to the hospital.

The Supervisor will be the Supply Chain auditing and compliance lead for PRHC and will uphold the department mission statement of "Seamless delivery of supply and customer service through accuracy and support".


WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • Post Secondary Education in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management or Contract Management
  • Formal education or a certificate in Healthcare Supply Chain would be an asset
  • Current membership with the SCMAO (Supply Chain Management Association of Ontario)
  • Minimum 3 years related work in a supervisory capacity or;
  • Onthejob training in leading Supply Chain teams
  • Proven experience in inventory management, including experience with integrated inventory technology solutions
  • Experience working successfully in a matrixed environment

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Effective problemsolving skills
  • Experience using multiple data sources to develop and prepare complex analysis
  • Strong ability to interpret, summarize and communicate complex statistical data to stakeholders throughout the organization

The following is an asset:

  • Proficient knowledge of medical surgical supplies and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and other procuretopay technology and previous experience in a Supply Chain shared services or hospital environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and communicate with all levels of management, customers, peers, suppliers and staff.
  • Able to be assertive and work under broad guidelines using own initiative
  • Able to balance the needs of the customer while keeping in mind the constraints of the business.
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively develop and implement improvement strategies, organize, control and coordinate a variety of activities in a fastpaced environment; PMP designation an asset.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience leading cross functional projects preferred.
  • Proven analytical and problemsolving skills
