We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator, to join our team in Winnipeg, MB.

As a key member of the People Services team within the People Corporation Human Resources department, this role, reporting to the Director, People Services, provides administrative support to a team of HR Business Partners working with employees in all People Corporation divisions coast-to-coast.

The individual in this role has exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills and will confidently manage projects and day-to-day HR inquiries to best support our teams.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a high level of proficiency in MS Office.

The Human Resources Coordinator will have access to confidential and private employee and company information, including the payroll system. The ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion is essential.


The Human Resources Coordinator will:


  • Support the People Services Director and Managers with the daytoday HR operational needs for our teams in a fastpaced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Manage the HR Support inbox including answering employee and leader questions, triaging and escalating inquiries to appropriate departments or contacts, sharing employee information with dependent departments and actioning all items.
  • Create employment agreements, offer letters, amendment letters and other employee letters for multiple People Corporation divisions and send directly to leaders, hiring managers and/or Talent Acquisition Specialists. Coordinate employee agreement countersigning and ensure dependent departments receive signed documents.
  • Coordinate the HR Onboarding process for all new People Corporation employees; provide new employee documents, policies and procedures, setup and deliver virtual HR Onboarding for hires at all levels of the organization and ensure employees receive all HRrelated resources for a successful start with the company.
  • Track and save all new hire and employee change forms. Maintain and update data within our New Employee Tracker in an accurate and timely fashion to ensure uninterrupted workflow between multiple teams.
  • Pull employee data for the People Services team from various sources including ADP (payroll), HR Support inbox and employee files. Update and distribute biweekly/monthly reporting.
  • Be in partnership with the Director, People Services, coordinate projects and create and format materials (training, communications, forms, etc.) for newly developed programs or initiatives
  • Create and update all People Services forms (new hire, employee changes, terminations, leaves, etc.) and trackers.
  • Maintain the People Services team's shared files and resources including documenting newly established or updated processes and approaches.

To be successful
as a Human Resources Coordinator
with People Corporation, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role
  • CPHR in progress considered an asset
  • Excellent computer skills with experience in O36
  • French bilingual or project management experience would be assets
