Must have at least 5 years in a superintendent role

Must be able to plan, schedule, direct crews within the budget and timeline assigned

Hours: Various shifts, project dependent, 12-hour days:

Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations):

Provide leadership and training to General Foreman, Foreman and other field staff

Work with the Safety Advisors to ensure the work is performed safely.
Plan the construction function to establish an affective organization.
Direct the overall construction program of the project.
Ensure project is meeting construction schedule.
Provide leadership to promote maximum productivity on site.

Experience and Certifications:

-
A minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent role required
:

-
A minimum of at least 10 years of civil construction experience required
:

Strong communication skills.
Equipment Operator experience or other field experience is an asset.
Must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS09) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II and Leadership for Safety Excellence.

Driver's Abstract is required and must be obtained within 30 days prior to employment
