    Heartland Mutual Insurance has an excellent opportunity in our Information Technology Department for an IT Project Manager.

    What you will do...

    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
    • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
    • Report and escalate to management as needed.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
    • Ensure that information systems practices conform to legal, regulatory and privacy obligations.
    • Measure and report on project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

    What you will bring...

    • College diploma in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
    • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
    • 3+ years' experience managing projects in the financial services industry – P&C insurance would be considered an asset.
    • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Project.
    • PMP and/or PMI designation would be considered an asset.
