Job Summary:

As a in house service technician you will be responsible for bench testing, refurbishing & repairing a variety of equipment TFI sells to our customers.

Job Duties:

Uncrating and bench testing equipment that is to be field installed.
Keeping work area clean
Refurbishing equipment for resale
Assisting other in shop technicians in prepping show room equipment for demonstrations.
Assisting in maintaining a clean and orderly shop environment.

Requirements:

Mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance License and experience a plus.
Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions in English orally and in writing.
Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
Knowledge and ability to work on 110v up to and including 220v system and equipment.
Knowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.
Able to create alternative solutions to problems.
Able to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be smartphone and tablet literate, with the ability to learn and navigate new software quickly;
Any second language an asset.

Job Types:

Hourly rate between $ $27.10 per hour depending on experience and education.
