We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Network Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.

Location Address
:
Remote for the most part but will be needed onsite occasionally based on the implementation schedule

Contract Duration
:1 Year

Typical Day in Role:


  • Replace old end of life network gear with updated version throughout the Toronto campus
  • Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades
  • Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems
  • Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas
  • Develop and implement solutions for network problems

C
andidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 5+ years of Network/Systems Administration or related work experience

  • Technical working experience in supporting, deploying and interconnecting various network technologies at an enterprise scale
  • Hands on working experience with Networking operations systems such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
  • Hands on working experience with Data network technologies and solutions such as LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, Firewall technologies, gateways, load balancing and WAN optimization
  • Knowledge of IP enable voice network technologies, VOIP network design and VOIP integration
  • Knowledge of DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and other IP services

Nice to Have Skills

  • Prior experience working on a large Network Upgrade project

Soft Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work closely with the internal team
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with mínimal direction
  • Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high scale project

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

Salary:
$40.00-$55.00 per hour
