- Lead the design, build and implementation of the LIT and CIT program with standards
- Teach soft skills to counsellors in training
- Provide resume building and interview skills workshops
- Onsite supervision of program and service delivery
- Coordinate guest speakers for various programs , activities and events
- Liaise with partners and other organizations
- Actively promote the YMCA and its programming, with a focus on LIT and CIT
- Monitor programs to assess gaps and work with supervisor to address as needed
- Report to supervisor on a weekly basis on program successes and challenges
- Be a positive role model for all program participants
- Possession of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- College diploma or University degree in Recreation, Education, Leadership is an asset
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in a similar role
- Valid G class driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR C
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current and satisfactory Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

We are currently looking for a Leadership Coordinator - Day Camp to join our team of committed professionals. This full-time position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario's Durham location in Sudbury.
LOCATION: Sudbury, ON
RATE OF PAY: $19.23 per hour
