- Performdaily checks (continuity, current, voltage and resistance) and diagnosticson equipment;
- Repair,install and test the equipment. (Transformers, regulators, motors,generators, electrical control system);
- Designcontrol panels and install circuit power distribution;
- Interpretthe requirements of the electrical code and ensure compliance;
- PLCprogramming (A.P.I.);
- Otherrelated tasks.
- Efficientand organized;
- Demonstratecollaborative spirit and initiative;
- Analytical,conscientious and flexible;
- Results-oriented,in compliance with health and safety standards;
- Have aCollege degree in Instrumentation/Control or a degree of professionalstudies recognized for certified Electrician;
- At leasttwo years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in atimber complex.
- Have a"C" license as an electrician; qualified certification;
- Know theOmron PLCs would be an asset;
- Familiaritywith Occupational Health and Safety legislation;
- Sawmilland/or planer experience will be considered an asset;
- Beavailable to work on shifts day, evening or night.
